Technology Becoming More Advance, Physical Game DVD Purchase Start to be Abandoned


Changing era and the development of the technology of the internet has bring the data a lot of change in world's gamers trend. The way through purchase of  physical item, such as buying DVD began to be abandoned and gamers switch to digital purchases or via download.



Change in trend is stated by the NPD Group research and analysis agency in the U.S. market. According to Anita Frazier, industry analyst of NPD, the market demand decline in physical product and the increase of demand in digital market was seen clearly through a report from NPD.

According to this agency, gamers in the U.S. has spent 1.38 billion dollars in the first three months of 2012. Nearly half of these figures is the sale from digital content.

6 Million LinkedIn Password was broken by Hacker

LinkedIn users data was successfully broken by hackers and has been published to the internet. LinkedIn officially said that there are more than six million passwords users that was broken. Hackers published the file that contain key code and password into a Russia web forum. They invited the hacker community to help use that key code.



LinkedIn, which has more than 150 million users, said the leaked password is no longer usable. All users will receive an e-mail with instructions to change the password, said LinkedIn. They will receive a second e-mail with details on why the change was necessary.

Now, users don't need to fear the threat of viruses "July 9" which is rumored to block internet access on that date. Google search engine will take parts to warns users by detecting DNS Changer virus that can make the computer confused on July 9, 2012.

If the user's computer is infected by DNS Changer, just do a search using Google, then Google will let you know that your computer is infected with DNS Changer or not.



"The warning will appear at the top of the column after the user performs a keyword search," says Google security engineer, Damian Menscher told CNet technology website.

Google will give warning : "We believe that your computer is infected with malicious software. If you don't take action, you might not be able to connect to the internet in the future."


DNS Changer malicious programs founded at the end of 2011. FBI and police managed to capture some of Estonia cyber criminals who make the DNS Changer program. Its come from a company from Estonia, Rove Digital, on November 8, 2011.

Faceporn beat Facebook in Court


Facebook declared defeated in his attempt to sue social network with pornography content that have similar names, Faceporn. Since 2010, Facebook has been trying to buy the domain Faceporn. This is done to secure the search results of "Facebook". Last time, Facebook already purchased and patented various domains with keyword "Face" and "Book". Until now, Facebook has 10 domains with that two keywords, and 17 domains that are still in pending ratification.



Well, for Faceporn, Facebook took legal steps to acquire that adult social network domain. However, last week, U.S. District Court Judge Jeffrey S. White stated, Facebook lost the lawsuit. Besides failed to get Faceporn domain ownership, Facebook is also obliged to pay some money to Faceporn to replace the cost to pay lawyers and legal costs. Facebook lawsuit was rejected because of lack of personal jurisdiction.

Apple to build Space Shuttle Building (Apple Campus 2)


Several citizens that live at Cupertino, United States, recently received a flyer brochure that sent out by Apple. That brochure  contains a description of "Apple Campus 2", the new building will be built by Apple. The images show some construction picture about how the building will be built, so people can imagine how Apple's new headquarters look like.



In the brochure, "Apple Campus 2" building will be circular with a garden in the middle. Roofs will be covered by solar panels. Steve Jobs once said that four-floor building will be like "spaceship was landing".

Campus Building complex which was first introduced in June 2011 is planned to be built in an area of 71 acres that now occupied by 26 old buildings. The trees will be planted on the land around it.

Today (05/23/2012), Google decorative logo (Doodle) was designed to commemorate the anniversary of the inventor of electronic music, namely Robert Moog. He was born on May 23, 1934. The man who has a long name Robert Arthur Moog was an inventor of electronic music with the terms of the famous Moog Synthesizer.

Electronic musical instruments ever created by him are Minimoog Model D, Minimog Voyager, Little Phatty, Moog Taurus, Bass Pedals, Moog Miniature and the Moogerfooger line of effects pedals. Now, his electronic music has even entered into the device with iOS operating system, namely the Animog IOS app.

Thanks to the new processor, Ultrabook Will Be More Affordable


Although thin and lightweight, Ultrabook still not very popular because the price is too expensive for consumers. However, that soon will change because Ultrabook cheaper version is being prepared.


Intel, the microchip giant heavily promoting Ultrabook, will launch Celeron processor Ultra-Low-Voltage (ULV) type 877 and 807 are each valued US $ 86 and $ 70. These processors are much cheaper than Core i7-3720QM that sold for US $ 378.

Intel Celeron 807 processor uses one core that works at speed of 1.5 GHz, while the Celeron 877 is dual-core processors that works at speed of 1.4 GHz.

"ULV" on the new processor refers to the so-called low-power consumption of only 17 watts. Both have architecture base Sandy Bridge and is made with 32 nm fabrication process.
