Apple to build Space Shuttle Building (Apple Campus 2)

Several citizens that live at Cupertino, United States, recently received a flyer brochure that sent out by Apple. That brochure  contains a description of "Apple Campus 2", the new building will be built by Apple. The images show some construction picture about how the building will be built, so people can imagine how Apple's new headquarters look like.

In the brochure, "Apple Campus 2" building will be circular with a garden in the middle. Roofs will be covered by solar panels. Steve Jobs once said that four-floor building will be like "spaceship was landing".

Campus Building complex which was first introduced in June 2011 is planned to be built in an area of 71 acres that now occupied by 26 old buildings. The trees will be planted on the land around it.

New MacBook will be Lighter and use Retina Display?

Apple reportedly is preparing new MacBook Pro laptop with thinner size and a few new features. As reported 9to5mac blog sites, Apple's new Macbook will be released on summer this year.

Latest MacBook Pro 15-inch screen will features Retina Display and USB 3.0 port. Retina Display technology is the display technology used in iPhone 4 and new iPad. Laptop computers from Appple is rumored to have thinner physical dimension than the previous MacBook Pro generation, but not sharp at the edges, like MacBook Air.

Same with the MacBook Air, MacBook Pro does not have an optical drive. According to Apple, Mac users can rely on App Store for software installation, replace the DVD drive.

Apple also implements screen technology known as "Mac Retina Display". According to Apple's claims, the screen on MacBook Pro has amazing quality. The size of the screen resolution can be changed later as the user want.

About Dealing with Viruses, Mac Left Behind 10 Years from Windows

The news about trojan that attacks thousands of Mac computers this month invite a comment from Kaspersky CEO, Eugene Kaspersky. Eugene said that Mac has been left behind 10 years from Windows, in terms of operating system security.

"Apple will realize very quickly that they are currently experiencing the same problem with Microsoft 10 years ago," Kaspersky said while speaking at Info Security 2012 which took place in London, on Wednesday.

So far, most viruses are created by cyber criminals is intended for Windows-based computers.

Microsoft is busy all the time because of these virus attacks. Microsoft should improve and update their Windows when a security hole is found.

New iPad Queue at South Korea and Malaysia

Again, long queue occurred at the latest release of Apple's New iPad at South Korea and Malaysia. In Korea, the customer who lucky to the first New iPad is a student. Meanwhile in Malaysia, they who are lucky to be the first buyer are couple of lovers.

Microsoft and Intel work together to compete Apple

Currently Intel and Microsoft are working together to produce Windows 8 touch-based tablet that based on Ultrabook platform. ODM (Original Design Manufacture) from Taiwan claim Intel-Micosoft duet aims to reduce iPad market share from 70% to 50% in mid 2013. What weapons are prepared by Intel-Microsoft? Of course, Microsoft's most advanced operating system, Windows 8.

As quoted from TomsHardware, Intel-Microsoft products are Hybrid Ultrabook that ever been showed in IDF (Intel Developer Forum) event and will compete Apple on two market, tablet market and ultrabook market.

Apple will release iPad Mini in the End of Year

After the release of New iPad (iPad 3), Apple rumored will re-release new tablet at the end of 2012. That new gadget that will be released is iPad mini with smaller screen than the original iPad. It will be priced only $ 249 and $ 299.

iPad mini that will be produced as many as 6 million units is created to compete Amazon's Kindle Fire. iPad mini plan to be launched in the end of this year. Quoted from Mashable, Tuesday (04/17/2012), Apple will put their factory in some region, especially Honhai Precision (Foxconn) and Pegatron.

Apple want to wipe all virus on Mac OS X

Apple will not tolerate the presence of virus on their operating system, Mac OS X. Flashback Trojan that have attacked about 600 units Macintosh try to be exterminated totally.

"Apple is making software that can directly detect and remove malware Trojan Flashback," said Apple support page on their website.

Trojan Flashback has been doing dirty work according to data received from server computer that controlled the creator of malware. To exterminate them, Apple is working with internet service provider to shut down this command and control the network.

Intel chips for Macbook Air and Ultrabooks

To support slim notebook Macbook Air and Ultrabooks products, Intel is preparing the chips to satisfy vast majority of users who want to upgrade from Core 2 Duo laptop into Ivy Brige processors that well known as Core i-series. Intel seems will focus on power efficient chips for Ultrabooks products. This chips designed with "M" or "U" suffix, and said that will draw less 20 watts than desktop computer.

Power efficient chips of course will affect its appearance. You can't compare the 17W chip with 25W or 35W chip that usually used by common thick laptops. But after all, the new chip is more than enough to satisfy the user who previously use Core 2 Duo laptop.

Apple : World's Most Admired Companies

Once again Apple become top of the list of the most admired company in the world of Fortune magazine for five consecutive years. Apple that now led by Tim Cook is considered to meet all the criteria include innovation, resource management, use of corporate assets, social responsibility, quality of management, financial condition and quality of products and services global competitiveness.
