Impede Investigation, Google fined $25,000

Google eventually fined $ 25,000 by the telecommunications regulatory commission in U.S. (Federal Communications Commission / FCC) as deemed to impede the investigation into alleged theft of community data. Data retrieval is done illegally by Google Street View car when crossing areas of residential and business offices that have an open WiFi access networks.

Google Street View car itself is designed to take photographs of existing road around the world for Google Maps database. Well, other than take photographs from town to town, Google also collects other confidential information. As quoted from the Washington Post, Tuesday (17/04/2012), Google copy valuable data that was encrypted, from email, text messages, to search list what is done by local people.

Google was sued by French Men Due to Google's Street View photos

A 50-year-old man from Mailne village in Loire region, France, in November 2010 was urinating in front of his house. When he urinated in front of his own home, without realizing the Google Street View car through and capture his activities. And because of this photo, he will become the subject of mockery about 3,000 villagers. Because they will see his embarassing photo through Google Maps.
