Hewlett Packard introduce HP T410 (The First Computer without Power Cord)

Thin client solutions have become standard solution for a company that wants to save cost of using PC. And there are many vendors already that offering these solutions. However, this time Hewlett Packard (HP) introduced a thin client solution that is completely different. HP introduces thin client solution that does not require the use of power cord (power) at all. It was introduces at Global Influencer Summit even that held at Expo Center in Shanghai, China.

The product is HP T410 All in One which consists of a 18.5-inch monitor and board computing unit (zero client unit) inside it. So where computer users get the power source?

HP T410 currently only use 13 watts of power needs, including for LCD monitor. The computer got the power source from Ethernet cable (network cable).

2011 years ago, Hewlett Packard (HP) had intended to sell their personal computer (PC) division. This because the division's performance continues to decline eroded of  the trend of tablet. However, HP eventually cancel to sold their PC division.

Now, the division that responsible for HP desktop and laptop products to become their mainstay the compete the tablet dominance that lead by Apple with iPad and Samsung with Galaxy Tab.

This was disclosed by Dion Weisler, Senior Vice President, Printing and Personal Systems Group, HP Asia-Pacific in break-out session event HP Global Influencers 2012 that was held in Shanghai, China, on Wednesday (05/09/2012).

Dion said, Ultrabook will be able to answer the needs of users who want another product that is as flexible as tablet. Ultrabook has almost everything in tablet, which is thinner, lighter, and the battery can last for long time, and the main thing is it can be turned on / used instantly.

Hwelett Packard use BMW techonology design to create HP Workstation Z1

Hewlett Packard (HP) work together with BMW Design Works USA to create workstation design (PC desktop premium). HP decide to work with BMW because they want to present luxurious design on their new product. HP implemented BWM design technology for their new product, HP workstation Z1.

For performance, HP Z1 has advantage because its "Hybrid". This means that it can use Quad Core Intel Xeon processors or Intel Core i3. So we can use that workstation as regular PC or PC server.

For graphics, the workstation use Intel graphics card HD 2000 or Intel HD 3000. If the user need higher performance, HP has provided Nvidia Quadro graphics card.
