To compete and win in internet browser competition, Google continues to strive to improve the quality and safety of its browser, Google Chrome. For approximately two years, Chrome with Chromium Security Reward Program which give a reward for developers who are able to find security holes, cracks and bug in Google Chrome.
At the CanSecWest security conference in Vancouver, Canada, that will be held this March 7-9, Google will sponsor a challenge program to exploit Chrome with total reward of $ 1 million.
Google will give rewards for various categories; Full Chrome exploit will receive US $ 60,000, Partial Chrome exploit will receive US $ 40,000, and the Consolation reward, Flash / Windows / other will receive US $ 20,000.
Besides the competition, Google is trying to maintain good relations with the hackers. With the competition, Google trying to get acquainted with the hacker and took them to hack in positive way.
Google is not just rewards in the form of cash, Google also rewards the winners in each category with a Chromebook.
To win this prize, participants must submit their hacking directly to Google and did not publish it to personal blog or other media.
