Via a social photo application called Kodak Gallery, Kodak tried to make android users more convenient to manage their photo. Previously, they already released their social photo application for iPhone in November last year.
However, Kodak seems don't publicize too much about the launch of their software for Android. The press release of new Kodak application just officially released yesterday.
"We do not care what device will customer use, the most important is they must be able to access photos and share their photos," said Mark Cook, Vice President of Kodak Gallery Product.
iPhone version of Kodak Gallery has been downloaded nearly 500,000 times since its launch. According to Mark Cook, over 5 million photo has been uploaded from iPhone, with an average of 50 photos per album.
Mark Cook also said if Kodak still has no plan to make the applications available for Blackberry devices or Windows devices.
This application works pretty well on the latest Android operating system. It was also working fine on the Amazon Kindle Fire. This application is available for free in both the Android Market and Amazon's AppStore for Android.
