Facebook was again criticized because of privacy-related. Intended to give their users more freedom to download their personal data, this social networking giant is once again criticized. Last week, Facebook opened wider access for their users to be able to download personal data. Tools named "Download Your Information" allows users to download more data they are stored up.
A European organization not agree with it. Organization founder, Max Schrems said that this tool supplying the data that are divided into 22 categories, but this update is actually fooling the user.
"Facebook does not provide access to raw data," Schrems said as quoted by BBC, Tuesday (04/17/2012).
Update on "Download Your Information" provides a detailed record of user activity on Facebook. First, this feature only provides download access to wall post, message, photos, video, chat, name and email address list.
Now, access is expanded to include information such as names that had been used before, IP address of friend requests and even user logs in Facebook.
