NComputing launched NComputing M300, virtual desktops device with thin client technology. Computing device can be used by three users simultaneously with only 6 watts of power consumption. According to Raj Dhingra, CEO of NComputing, M300 target organizations with three to 45 users in an environment such as classrooms, laboratories, library, work room, business center, and call center.
"With variety of management tools in M300, IT managers can implement faster network based on Microsoft Windows or Linux compared to other solutions," he said in written statement on Thursday (03/05/2012).
M300 was designed as thin client device that is easy to use, powerful, and affordable. Along with vspace Server 6.6 software, thin client devices M300 3-in-1 allows an organization to add virtual desktops with lower costs than the use of computers.
Users can reduce the cost of ownership and energy to more than 75%, and 67% network cost, and maintenance costs can save up to 75% with same quality of computing.
For M300, vspace Server software allows 45 users to simultaneously connect to single operating system on one host computer. According to Raj Dhingra, its implementation can be done quickly and easily by IT experts, or even people who only understand IT basics.
