Addicted to Internet, Teens and Adults spend 15 hours online every week

England internet users is one of the largest in the world. Peoples in this country spend more than 15 hours per week or five hours more than six years ago. Eight out of ten adults are online from various different devices. This figure increased 20% since 2005.

A survey of the media regulator, Ofcom disclose similar data. People spend their time for social networking with the smartphone and PC. Research showed that there are about 59% of adult who have accounts on social networking sites. And two-thirds of those visiting the site every day. This figure is increase one-third than in 2007.



Internet access itself has increased dramatically by 10% in a year or increased about 87%. Experts say if smartphone also affect the use of internet right now. Time allocation increased from 14.2 hours to 15.1 hours per week when compared with 2010.

How to access at home? Surveys show that if the internet access at home use increased from 9.4 hours to 10.5 hours. Other data show if nine out of ten people aged over 75 years of not using the internet. Bob Warner of Ofcom said that if they are over the age of 65 years had no interest in the internet and do not intend to have a connection at home.
