Google themselves have done the same thing like Baidu. Google ever make collaboration with Twitter to deliver real time result in the search results. But Twitter then quit from the project and the feature was not available anymore since 2011 ago. Now, Baidu do something similar to what has been done by Google.
Baidu will feature real-time result like hot news or hot search topic (trending topic), from Sina Weibo. The search results will be pinned to a specific label with an explanation if the content is derived from social sites (Sina Weibo). "We process the billions of searches every day. And they ask about real time information," said Zhang Chaoyang, Baidu executive assistant. According to him, cooperation between Baidu and Sina Weibo will complete the integration of content with high quality of the four leading Chinese microblogging platform.
"Baidu is a very efficient channel to widen range of quality real time information for netizens," said Peng Shaobin, vice president and general manager of operations in Sina Weibo. China's Internet users will get more than just search. But the content inside will be more social.
