Facebook Hacker Cup 2012 has started on Saturday (03/17/12) local time. And the event has been going on for three hours. The programmers from around the world gather to compete in solving three problems apart.
Facebook Hacker Cup competition this year is very tight. In fact, the lag time between the winner and second place just one minute later. The first position is occupied by Roman Andreev with time of 1 hour 4 minutes. He has the right to receive trophy plus check of USD 5,000.

A similar competition conducted by Google through an annual contest called Google Code Jam. Facebook Hacker Cup seems adopted this contest. Facebook plans to hold this competition annually
