Printing photos from Facebook are sometimes a bit difficult because of its low resolution. Seeing the weakness comes a service called CanvasPop. CanvasPop claimed that it was the only service in the world that offers feature that can print photo no matter how small with perfect results. Corresponding name of the service, the printing process uses canvas as a medium.
Facebook is currently the largest photo repository in the world with 150 billion images. Reportedly, each day there are more than 100 million photos dipload in this famous networking site. Wow.
"We allow 800 million Facebook users to begin doing something that previously impossible - bring up a file with a small format to large format," said Adrian Salamunovic, the co-founder.
They believe the internet market is very big and challenging. They learn from their competitors, Kodak. "We learned a lot of Kodak's failure to innovate in an ever-changing market," said Salamunovic.
CanvasPop brings technology called Picture Perfect. Reporting from Virtual-Strategy, Wednesday (14/03/2012), it takes 2 years to develop these technologies. With this technology, users can print images in any size in perfect quality.
