Reporting from TorrentFreak, Kim Dotcom said Megaupload already spent millions of dollars to maintain megaupload site. A lot of experts think that Megaupload have done their best to against illegal file. File that is copyrighted will be deleted, and Megaupload could not be prosecuted for the actions of their users.
Kim compares his case to case between Viacom against YouTube last year. In that case, Google win. That time judge said that sites like YouTube can not be claimed because of video that user uploaded. YouTube also removes copyrighted content when asked by the copyright owner.
Kim asked the same rights to Megaupload. According to him, Megaupload have already do the obligations as file sharing site. If Megaupload is closed, why sharing sites like Rapidshare, Mediafire and 4shared still operating?
