Within 24 hours after the release of Windows 8, Consumer Preview has been downloaded 1 million times. Of course this is a good news for Microsoft, to know their newest operating system is welcome.
Through Microsoft's official Twitter account, Windows 8 development team released the news through a simple tweet on Thursday. "One day later ... one million downloads of the preview consumer," they wrote.
Consumer Preview is a development of the Developer Preview that released last September. Microsoft will continue to develop it until it's ready to be released for the tablet, laptop or desktop later this year.
